I Never Paid Artistes To Perform At My Show—Ushbebe

Though the sold out show, 'Chronicles of Ushbebe' may have come and gone, but the many exciting moments of the event still linger on in the memory of those that attended it.

The brain behind the programme, a comedian named Ushbebe, who is also a presenter with Naija FM, has explained that it was not easy putting up such an event that gulped about N4 million.

Speaking with Encomium magazine, the comedian explained that he was able to get the several top artistes to perform at the show through goodwill.

He specifically said that Five Star Records, which has KCee and Harrysong as its top acts, supported him.

“I am not a politician and funny enough KCee's label splashed on me for putting up a good show so did the likes of Ambassador Karo. If I have to pay the musicians I would have spent all my savings,” Ushbebe said.
