No Politician Paid Me A Dime To Vote—Wizkid
Nigerians have most times requested for a credible, free and fair elections in the country whenever they go to the polls to elect their leaders.
In the build up to the 2015 presidential election, politicians have used different means to woo the electorates to vote for them. In the 2014 governorship poll in Ekiti State, a new terminology was coined, 'stomach infrastructure'.
Before the poll on Saturday, politicians engaged the services of entertainers to canvass for votes from the electorates.
Just when this was going on, some celebs took it upon themselves to warn Nigerians against violence at the polls.
For Wizkid, he recently said he was never paid any money to cast his vote for any candidate. According to him, he voted for the candidate of his choice.
He stressed that no matter the amount of money politicians dole out, it can never buy the future of the country.
Nigerians are still anxiously waiting for INEC to announce the winner of the just concluded presidential election.
