We Never Blacklisted Any Actor in Nollywood…Movie Producer, Emeka Samuel Aduah
Some years ago, some 'cabals' in the Nigerian film industry prevented some practitioners from getting jobs because of what they termed as 'high headedness'.
The likes of Genevieve Nnaji, Ramsey Nouah and some other top actors in Nollywood were rumoured not to have gotten jobs to do at some point which brought about the emergence of new set of faces in the industry.
When Nollywoodgists.com visited the Alaba International market, to see how movies were being sold and distributed and know why some celebrities were blacklisted some years back, the chairman Films /video producers and Marketers Association of Nigeria Lagos branch (FVPMAN) Emeka Samuel Aduah, ceo Magnetic Lynks limited, denied such allegations.
Emeka told Nollywoodgists.com that no such thing came from his association as they are not aware of any actor being blacklisted.
According to him, “Blacklisting actors never came from us because we as producers need them and they need us also, so why do we have to blacklist them. Find out well, no actor was blacklisted.”
