REAL WOMEN, REAL ISSUES: How Do I Handle My Double-Faced Line Manager?
My line manager has never complained about my work or my person to me before, not even once. She doesn't commend me and she doesn't criticize me either.
But she tells every body else that cares to listen that I am not competent and she regrets hiring me, she has gossiped about me to other colleagues and even to the overall manager but never said anything to me. I don't even know what I am not doing right because she has never told me.
Should I confront her about it or just assume I have not heard anything and go on as usual? Could she be planning to sack me?
