We Didn’t Collect Money To Campaign For Agbaje—Grace Amah
Nollywood actress, Grace Amah, who recently turned a year older, has explained that contrary to what many people believe, she never collected a dime to throw her support for Jimi Agbaje, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Lagos State.
The single mother of one pointed out that herself and other celebrities campaigning for Agbaje are doing so just because they want a genuine change in Lagos State, which they believe the Pharmacist-turned politician can effect if he becomes the governor of the state.
She made this known in an interview with Encomium magazine, noting that this started as a non profit organisation.
According to the thespian, “We did not just start campaigning for Jimi Agbaje because of this election. We started as a Non Governmental Organisation (NGO) promoting what we vision as a New Lagos where education is not a slogan but a reality.”
“All members of #4NL featured in the commercial. It's not for one person and nobody was contracted in that sense of contract. We support what we believe will bring good life to Lagosians. We are not rented by anybody to campaign for Jimi Agbaje. So, the issue of how much I received does not arise,” she added.
