Today the 29th of September 2014, two of Nollywood's veteran actresses has been awarded with the National Honors Award 2014 by the President of Nigeria, Good luck Jonathan in Abuja.

The two actresses are Joke Silvia and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde. The two were today honored for their great works in the country and in the film industry as a whole. The award was presented by the president himself.

It is going to be a double celebration for veteran actress and wife of actor Olu Jacobs, Joke Silvia as today also happens to be her birthday. Congratulations to them on their honorary awards.
