A top Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo, who is also very famous in the Nigerian film industry, got an unfortunate birthday gift on Tuesday, February 3, 2015.

The actor clocked 31 on Tuesday and one of the gifts he received was the auto crash, which we learnt was minor.

The incident happened at East Legon around the American House in Accra, Ghana and involved his Toyota truck and another truck.

It was learnt that no one was hurt in the accident. The police has already waded into the incident.

John Dumelo had written of his birthday with a message which reads, “I'm blessed to be a year older today. God has been good to me. 31 ain't an easy age. In the next 10 years, I don't want my name in African Forbes but Global Forbes.

“I want to be closer to God and want to be a motivation to people all over the world. I want to let people know you can achieve whatever you want if you put your mind to it. Happy birthday to me… 31 is the new 41!"
