Alex Ekubo has tasted the good and bad sides of being a celebrity, but yet, the actor and model has not allowed any of those situations affect his rising career.

Recently, he disclosed what stands him out amongst many others and according to him, he was destined to be in Nollywood.

Alex said he has been through several tough times, adding that people have either lied against him or cheated him in one way or the other. He however said he is not bothered about them.

According to him, “The Difference between you and I is that I'm built for this. I've dealt with my demons. I've been broke, paid, lied to, taken advantage of, cheated on, hungry and full.

“My name has been dragged through the mud more than once and every time I pick it up and wash it off. I've come a long way and still have a long way to go. I want you to know that your opinion don't offend me; still smiling, still standing, still I rise.”
