Following the bold steps taken by both the music and the movie industry in Nigeria against piracy, international Fuji singer, Abass Akande Obesere was reported he had a private meeting with President Goodluck Johnathan over long trending issue of piracy.

The Fuji icon who joined some selected PDP officials from Lagos to Aso Rock in Abuja for an official meeting, had to remind the President in private about the lingering issue of piracy which he feels could be reduced if the Presidency could step in.

Obesere through his publicist disclosed President Goodluck Jonathan has vowed to battle piracy after he has been re-elected into office.
