“I am still single because I have lost all interest in marriage and I don't believe in the institution any more. Nigerian men are too controlling and overbearing for me and I am already set in my ways. Besides, I have been on my own for too long. My major concern is training my daughter,” that was Yeni Kuti's response to a question during an interview that was published in 2014.

At a recent event held in Lagos, it was observed by Nollywoodgists.com that Yeni, daughter of late afro-beat king, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, was with a foreigner.

Though we could not ascertain if the man was Yeni's lover, but they both acted as if they were one and were seen together taking photographs and even went into the event's hall together.

Yeni and the man held hands like adolescents just experiencing love for the first time. Even some people who sighted them at the event said in hush tones that the unidentified man could be the man behind Yeni's radiant looks.

Well, if this is man that will not be to controlling like Nigerian men, according Yeni, we hope the wedding bell will ring soon.
