One of the stories in Nollywood that has seized to die is the alleged romantic affair between Jackie Appiah and Bobby Obodo.

Even when both parties try to deny nursing any starry-eyed relationship between them, things continue to tilt in that direction. Some people even alleged that Bobby was responsible for the marriage crash of the Ghanaian actress.

It would be recalled that few months ago, Bobby, a Nigerian actor, told Punch in an interview that there is nothing going on between them as regards an illicit affair.

According to him, “It is not true that I am in a relationship with Jackie Appiah. There is nothing amorous between us. We are not engaged or planning to get married; there is nothing like that. Marriage is out of the picture for us, it is just the words of rumour mongers.

“My relationship status is 'complicated' because I was married and later got divorced so since then, I have been keeping my private life abreast. I would rather not talk much about it because of what I went through. I just left a relationship that produced beautiful children. Right now I am just focused on being on top of my game with my show business.”

However, Nollywoodgists.com has observed that Jackie Appiah often times comments on posts made by Bobby on his social media page.

When these happen, Bobby does not economise words in returning the comments.

In one of the recent ones, Bobby wrote, “My best friend is a living legend! One of the wisest but most silent humans I've ever met. Such an honour. She says I act tough, she says when I fight I'm an animal, and I'm a protector, but I'm a baby. Whatever that means, you can't buy this friendship.”

It should be noted that fans of these two talented actors would not want to be left in the dark. Some of them will be excited to see both alleged lovers get married someday.
