Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot may have emerged as the favourable flag bearer for the All Progressive Congress for the 2015, Lagos State House of Assembly election, yet the actor is not in any way celebrating that divine achievement yet as he is still strategizing on how to defeat his opponents in the election.

According to the actor, his recent victory at the party's primary means nothing to him as he hopes to celebrate if he can win his oppositional party.

“I will celebrate after we have overcome our political opponents from other parties, not now. For me, this is not the real victory,” he said.

He acknowledged his respect for his defeated fellow APC contestants at the just conclude primaries noting that the candidates paraded by the party were of high quality but won out of divine favour, hoping to have a collective team that would work together for the growth of the state.© 2014Nollywoodgists.com
