Singer Sasha P, Help's to Rescue 2 year old Girl With Cardiothoracic

Nigeria's first female rapper, Sasha P, might not be frequent in the music scene, but the singer is not relenting in her efforts to make a good name for herself as she tries to use every little avenue to touch lives.

The singer was recently at Kiss Fm Abuja- Radio Abuja, with the Hospitals for humanity team, soliciting for funds and support to help build a state of the art cardiothoracic centre.
After the interview session, Sasha proceeded to the Garki hospital, where she monitored a sugery carried out on a young girl with the help of some foreign doctors who flew into the country to help out.

According to her, “With two of the 14 man team conducting the surgeries all week. I got to watch today's surgery . It was very complicated and it was done on a two year old. It was a very emotional experience! Trust me watching Grey's anatomy will not prepare you for the reality of knowing someone's life is hanging in the balance not to speak of a child's! I am in awe of all the doctors that came from all over the world to help revitalise the Nigerian health care system. This is just a step but hopefully it will encourage our government to continue to invest in proper health care. It shouldn't be a luxury #HospitalsForHumanity”

“With Dr Mrs. Babaniyi a paediatric cardiologist and the Babeyero family. Their daughter Aisha's surgery was yesterday and I watched it. This young lady is a fighter! Stopped by the ICU to check on her today and was surprised to see her sitting up. There are 6 more surgeries to go before the doctors return to their various countries. Thank you so much @hospitalsforhumanity for sharing, answering all my questions and for using your gifts to save lives. God bless you,” she appreciated.© 2014Nollywoodgists.com
