It has been reported that Armed men have snatched one of the official vehicles of Jigawa state governor, Sule Lamido.

DSP Abdu Jinjiri, the spokesman for the police in the state confirmed the incident revealing that the car, a Toyota Land cruiser V8, was snatched around 9 pm on Tuesday, 2nd of December.

Jinjiri revealed that Jigawa state police command received the news of a staff vehicle belonging to government house, saying: “at exactly 9pm a Toyota Land cruiser V8 driven by one Auwalu Mohammed was snatched at gunpoint by unidentified robbers.”

Jinjiri also disclosed that officers across the state have been mandated to track the stolen vehicle, while the driver, Auwalu Mohammed has been arrested and is currently being interrogated by the state criminal investigation department (CID)© 2014Nollywoodgists.com
