'This is just the Beginning, Grammy is next'

Harrysong beat Davido, Olamide and others to clinch on to the 'Best Pop Extra' category at the just concluded Nigerian Music Video Awards. The Five Star Music singer was the biggest winner and highlight of the night as he went home with plaques for 'Best Pop Extra' and 'Best Contemporary Afro.' He ended his reign of the night with an outstanding performance.

Hours after the award ceremony came to an end, discussion of his performance amongst audience and on social media was his outstanding performance where he switched his planned and rehearsed tracks for a 'freestyle' and tales on 2face inspiring him which got the crowd on their feet and screaming.

Winners of the night also included KCEE for Best HighLife and Five Star Music as Best Producer of the year.

The singer has released a statement and thank you note: 'Thank you for the NMVA win and an amazing year!' He ended the short piece with: 'This is just beginning, our eyes is on the Grammys.'
