Everyone knows that one of the biggest music award ceremonies in Nigeria is the Headies. For the 2014 edition, temperature is already rising, permutations have begun as to who wins what. Also, guests, especially celebs, have started racking their brains as regards what to wear to the event.

But let's quickly go back memory lane. Some years ago, I got an early morning call from the organizers of the awards, informing me of an nominees unveiling party and I quickly prepared myself and got myself to the office of Smooth Promotion, organizers of Headies.

To my surprise, I met a house filled with celebs like late Dagrin, Ice Prince, MI, Jesse Jags, Tillaman and Bankyw amongst other already bringing down the roof. I wasted no time in getting my camera into action.

One thing that remains fresh in my memory is the sober mood Dagrin was wearing, as if he knew he will not live to see the award day. Also, i still remember how inspired many were to have Chief Executive Omoita around because he was the artiste of the moment at hat time.
