When MI, Gbemi, Others Inspired Secondary Students In Lagos (Pictures)
Thursday, November 13, 2014 will for a long time remain fresh in the memories of some secondary school students in Lagos.
It was a day when some of the stars they have read about in the news or seen before on their silver screens inspired them at a programme put together by Esther Ijewere-Kalejaiye's Rubies Ink, organisers of the 'Walk Against RApe (WAR) campaign in Nigeria.
The Indoor Sports Hall of the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere, Lagos was filled by over 1000 secondary school students drawn from both private and public schools in the metropolitan city. The students gathered for the 2014 edition of 'Project Capable'.
MI Abaga, Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi, Tolu Sangosanya and Lanre Messan were facilitators at the epoch making event and they educated and inspired the students on several life changing topics, while a representative from the Lagos State Ministry of Health lectured the students on 'Hygiene and Hand-washing.'
Lagos State Ministry of Education, Health and Youths and Social Development were some of the bodies that endorsed the laudable programme.© 2014Nollywoodgists.com
