Just as Nigeria just celebrated her 54th independence anniversary, Timi just released a song to inspire the nation for a national rebirth. The hit song 'Great Nation' is fast becoming another national anthem.

The song talks about the need for Nigerians to build Nigeria in the face of harsh realities.

Commenting on what inspired the song, the soulful crooner revealed that the song was inspired by his love for Nigeria

“The inspiration behind great nation is my love for Nigeria. Letting Nigerians know that we have to make this country work and we can only do it together.

In the same vein he also revealed the motive behind The Great Nation competition which he said it is to encourage talented individuals to record their own songs. According to him:”The reason behind the competition is to create that spirit of togetherness in my own little way”
