Ace Nigerian singer, Sound Sultan, has disclosed the main reason he did not attend the just-concluded awards ceremony organised by MTV Base.

The Festac-based artiste explained that since he had no role to play at the ceremony, he felt it was not necessary for him to be at the event.

According to him, “dem no nominate me, I no dey perform or present award.”

When asked by a fan if it was proper to tackle issues with the organizers of the awards, Sound Sultan said there is no point fighting over such issues, saying making more money is the ultimate.

“No need we no dey fight. na to get alert matter,” he said.
