Nigeria’s Insecurity Problems Mere Propaganda—Eedris Abdulkareem
Controversial Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem, who sang the controversial song, 'Nigeria Jagaja,' says artistes should be able to do songs that pass messages across to listeners.
The artiste, whose song brought hatred between him and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, explained that the country is still not settled but with the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan, there have been some reasonable transformations.
Eedris, who was a guest on Channels Television programme penultimate Saturday, noted that he never liked President Jonathan because he felt that he was working for Baba (Olusegun Obasanjo) but he is very happy to observe that Jonathan has the keen interest of Nigerians at heart.
Eedris pointed out that most Nigerian artistes are scared to speak the truth through their music, which is why he will not spare anybody because he is the right person to always speak for the masses.
He urged the people to vote President Jonathan into power for the second time based on his good works, adding that the insecurity in the country is a mere propaganda.
