EBOLA VIRUS!! Ogun State Postpones Resumption Date In Primary, Secondary Schools.

Secondary and primary Schools in Ogun State, Nigeria might not resume this coming session because of the spread of the Ebola virus. The Ogun State Government has announced the indefinite postponement of the resumption date for all primary and secondary schools in the state.

This announcement was made by the Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Segun Odubela, in a press statement yesterday, 21 August, 2014, where he attributed the postponement to the deadly Ebola disease.

“Due to the current global health challenge occasioned by the deadly Ebola disease, the Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has postponed the resumption date for all public and private primary and secondary schools earlier scheduled for September 15, 2014 to a date to be announced later,” the commissioner said.
