Former Miss Tourism Condemns Bleaching
Bleaching is an issue that is being widely debated in Africa. While some support it, others frown at it, saying it shows inferiority complex on the part of the person engaging in it.
Though some celebs have been accused of bleaching their skins, which they have denied, others have defended why they have to spend heavily to tone their skin colour.
But former Miss Tourism, Precious Okon has condemned the fast-growing trend among the female folks. According to the model-cum-makeup artiste, there should be modesty in what people do.
In an exclusive chat with Nollywoodgists.com, Precious said, “It (bleaching) is not really good because we (Africans) have the best skin. We are elegant, and beautiful. Black is beautiful and rich, so I don't support bleaching. The only thing is that in everything we want to do, we have to be modest in them.”
