For some weeks now, veteran actress, Clarion Chukwura has vented her anger on the President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Ibinabo Fiberesima. The mother of Clarence Peters, in her several rants, disclosed her intention to vie for the post when the tenure of Ibinabo ends later this year.

Clarion claimed that the first AGN female boss took some stakeholders to President Goodluck Jonathan in February 2014 for some personal and selfish reasons. The questioned Ibinabo's request for a secretariat in Abuja from the nation's number one citizen, who was made the Grand Patron of the Guild during the visit.

The veteran actress claimed Ibinabo left her responsibilities as the AGN leader to seek political appointment and asked her to resign, saying she is not qualified to hold the exalted post. Some have speculated that Clarion is ranting because she was not included in the delegation that visit Jonathan in February.

In her response to Clarion, which was made available to Nollywoodgists.com on Monday, Ibinabo, while acknowledging the role of Clarion in the industry, wondered why she has suddenly developed as special interest in AGN, having declined to be identified with the Guild in the past when approached.

Ibinabo faulted the babymama of Sir Shina Peters in taking her rants to the public when she could have called her (Ibinabo) into order privately.
