People Think I’m Rude, But I’m Not—Jide Kosoko’s Daughter Speaks

Nollywood actress, Bidemi Kosoko, daughter of veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, has debunked rumours making the rounds that she was rude during her youth service year.

Bidemi described the reports as false, claiming she never behaved unruly as alleged by several media reports. She added that people are yet to understand her kind of person.

According to her, “That was a funny story because nothing like that ever happened. I don't need to start explaining because it will look like I am defending myself. I tell people not to judge a book by its cover. If you don't know me, you will continue to say this or that.

“I have decided not to react to the story again. The question is why didn't they write this story when I was still in service? The fact is that people will talk because you can't please everybody. Some will like you and others will hate you for no reason. I'm not bothered about what they wrote because it's not true.”

She further denied claims that she was once disgraced by a woman during her clearance exercise, charging anybody that spread the rumour to face her. “It is not true. I was not disgraced by anybody, and I'll say that again and again. I wish the person who wrote this rubbish could say it to my face.”
