Popular Yoruba actress, Bukky Wright, has joined the league of Nigerian entertainers who want to be in government, come 2015. She is contesting as a member of the House of Representatives at the the Abeokuta South Federal Constituency, under the Social Democratic Party.

The 47-year-old actress, Bukky Wright, recently joined the league of proud grand mothers in the entertainment industry as her son, Olugbenga Wright, popularly called Ojayy, welcomed a baby girl with his American girlfriend few months ago.

Bukky Wright was born on the 31 of March 1967. She is an Economics graduate of the University of Lagos.

The veteran actress started her acting career in 1996 and has so far featured in over 100 Nollywood movies. She has got two beautiful boys.
