Recently, brands in Nigeria are beginning to see the value of celebrity endorsement to a particular brand which helps to appeal to their teaming fans in a bid to lure them into using a particular product.

At the unveiling of the new 'Omo Fast Action Detergent,' in Lagos, Nollywood stars were seen advertising the products to their fans in a bid to convince them of its quick effects on cloths.

One of the Nollywood celebrities present, Muyiwa Ademola said “No other detergent removes stains faster than New OMO Fast Action detergent.”

The celebrities were seen dressed in the colour of the detergent which is red, blue and white, giving out the detergents to retailers and also thanking them for their support for the brand over the years.

Members of Association of the Nigerian Theatre Practitioners (ANTP), who supported the launching at major markets in Lagos include Moji Olaiya, Ronke Oshodi-Oke, Odunlade Adekola, Femi Adebayo, Afonja Olaniyi (Sanyeri), Mercy Aigbe, Muyiwa Ademola, Fausat Balogun among others.
