Henceforth, only persons with the valid ID card of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) will be allowed to take part in professional movies in Rivers State, this was the verdict by the leadership of the guild in the state.

This decision was reached on Saturday, June 28, 2014 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

Secretary of AGN in the state, Barthelomew Gerald while addressing journalists in the state, said "henceforth, only AGN ID card carriers are to partake in professional movies. You can now be sure of which is the authentic ID because this one is a CASHCARD also used in ATM, online, etc.”

He also warned members to be weary of fraudster as he said, “don't let anyone deceive you again with scanned IDs or the so called state chapter ID. Our ID now comes in association with Diamond Bank."

The move, according to what we scooped, is to ensure that members of the guild get involved in movie jobs.
