Nollywood Make-up Artist Trying To Balance Real And Fake Lives Together

Make-up in Nollywood has sometime been an issue of discuss in the entertainment industry, with some people describing the art as fake and not real compared to the Hollywoods.

These arguments come up especially during accident, sickness or any form of body discoloration of the actor or actress involved in the scene. The way the make-ups are being applied, sometimes makes the whole thing unbelievable.

Some certain part of the make-up is so fake that while watching the movie, you just tend to probably remove it and watch the foreign movies. Of Course, this has been the arguments of many that the way movies are shot in this country, is so fake that as an audience, you will know that this is not real rather than to be carried away.
Here are photos of a Nollywood special effect make-up artiste combining her extensive experience in custom made prosthetic, dentures and life casts, sculpture, mask/costume design and fabrication, fiberglass/silicone mold making, silicone and urethane (foam) props and appliances, realistic painting and airbrushing for television, film, Magazine, live events, and more.
