Stephanie Okereke Accuse Husband of Infidelity
Star actress, Stephanie Onyekachi Okereke and her estranged footballer husband, Chikelue IIoenuosi, are now in court for the formal dissolution of their marriage. The union, contracted on August 31, 2004, in Lagos, went sore on January 14, 2007, due to what she summed up as infidelity, treachery and bigamy, on the part of IIoenyosi.
Accusing her ex- husband of being married to one Ijeoma Mba at a time they were supposed to be a couple, Okereke, in her divorce petition, now before a Lagos High Court, equally alleged that IIoenuosi ceaselessly indulged in extra marital affairs while they co- habited together.
She is also praying the court will award her N100 million as recompense for the trauma she was subjected to by the former Super Eagles player while they were married.
She also wants him to return her Mercedes Benz car,, CLR 500, value at N3.5m; a Volkswagen Passat, 2.0, valued at N3.5m; a N150,000 laptop as well as household items like pots, refrigerator, microwave and gas cooker estimated at N600,000, which she claimed he equally took from her.
Not forgetting another N4.3 million allegedly collected from her fraudulently. The money was meant for the purchase of a land for her brother- inlaw.
IIoenuosi, in his response, denied all these. Not only that, he also confessed that he is still in love with the actress and would want them to return to the good old days, by mending fences and broken hearts.
The Star actress told us is not possible as she has since moved on with her life. And can never go back to her vomit. Born in 1982, Stephanie is from Ngor-Okpala, Imo State. She attended Ahor Primary School and St Bridget's Girls Grammar School, both in Delta State. And later, University of Calabar, where she read English and Literary Studies.
She was a one time Reel Awards Actress of the Year, her first movie was Compromise. The others are Terror, Emotional Crack, Waterloo, Morning Train, Final Solution, to mention but a few.
