The organisers of the Africa Fashion Week Nigeria have named Big Brother stars, Pokello and Elikem, as its new ambassadors.

According to the organizaers, they say the event, scheduled to take place in May at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, will provide equal opportunities for emerging and top fashion designers.

“The event aims to bind emerging talents in the fashion industry, connect them to the right people, showcase them to their customers and provide them with a platform to grow and create awareness.

The ceremony this year will be wrapped-up with a gala fashion show by veteran fashion designer Hajia Abba Folawiyo .

The two-day event will have patrons like Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas, Hon. Abike Dabiri, Senator Daisy Danjuma and Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija in attendance.
