The highly anticipated Yoruba Movies Academy Awards (YMAA) holds today, Sunday, March 30, 2014 and feelers reaching us confirm that all is set for the event.

Speaking with Nollywoodgists.com, the executive producer of the awards, Tunde Laface, said, 'our technical partner, Zmirage is on ground to set up the stage to make the event glamorous.

'The awardees and the presenters would have a cocktail by 4pm today and would be taken to the venue of the event by 5pm in a Limousine, where they would be march on a traditional carpet. Ayuba will perform today as well as present awards. The show starts by 7pm and all I can say is that Ibadan is ready for YMAA.'

Further information gathered Nollywoodgists.com indicates that some film practitioners in the Yoruba movie industry are already in Ibadan, while others would storm the ancient city today to partake in the occasion.
