Aganga Joins Entertainment Industry
The Nigerian entertainment industry is in the mind of Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr. Olusegun Aganga.
He is particularly targeting the industry for job creation and improvement of the Gross Domestic production (GDP).
Aganga disclosed this in Abuja, when members of the International Committee of AFRIMA, visited his office to seek his support for the maiden edition of All Africa Music Awards, which Nigeria is hosting in october.
According to the Minister, 'The potential of the entertainment industry needs to be tapped to create employment/enterpreneural opportunities for the youths and to improve the country's economy.'
He added that he will be glad to partner with with AFRIMA in line with the ministry's vision to formulate and implement policies and programmes to attract investment, boost industrialization, increase trade and exports an develop enterprises in Nigeria.
