MR. LATIN SHINES IN U.S - DENIES ABUSING NURTW MEMBERS IN NEW MOVIE

Top movie producer, Mr Bolaji Amusan popularly known as Mr Latin who is presently on tour of the United States, has again cleared the air on the rumour spreading fast that his hit movie, Alaga Garrage was launched to attack a section of the transport union leaders in Yorubaland.

Mr Latin who made his reaction known through a press release he circulated via the internet to media houses, disclosed that the said movie was actually shot over eight months ago but was released into the market two months back and “contrary to rumour peddlers, the movie was designed to showcase the new democratic ideals which has taken over Nigeria transport unions.”

The multiple award winning comedian added that the movie also x-rayed the past violent roles through which leaders emerge at motorparks, which has now become a thing of the past. The movie, according to him concluded that gainning leadership positions in the parks now comes through election.

He also opened up that one of his previous movies which he titled Omo Ode de as well as the controversial Alaga Garrage was even dedicated to prominent unoin leaders in Yorubaland, including Alhaji Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa, MC Olu omo of Oshodi, Iyeru and even the Late Alhaji Saka Saula.

Latin however appealed to those peddling the rumour of his alleged attack on the unionists to desist from dragging his name in the mud, explainning further that he holds the union leaders in high esteem.

Meanwhile, the ace comedian and his team on tour of some prominent cities in United States recently bagged three outstanding awards which include Lifetime Achievement Awards by the Nigerian House in New York, Special Recognition Award by the Government of Rhodes Island and Recognition Awards anchored by the Nigerian Ambassador to the United States, Brigadier General Oluwole Rotimi rtd, which was held at the Nigerian House in Washington DC.
