When foreigners, especially highly celebrated stars associate themselves with a culture that is different from theirs, it makes news and excites many, especially the real owners of the culture.
It was not surprising to see Nigerians excited that Hollywood diva, Kerry Washington tweeting in Igbo language.
Kerry is married to a Nigerian of Igbo extraction. He is a Nigerian-American NFL player named Nnamdi Asomugha. Kerry also shared her twitter post on her Facebook wall. The tweet has been generating lots of commendations from Nigerians.
