TIMAYA SURPASSES HATERS EXPECTATIONS TO REMAIN RELEVANT IN THE INDUSTRY

By Reginald Chukwu

One artiste who despite his controversial nature keeps proving he's a master in the game of music is none other than Timaya.

He is the least expected to remain relevant in the industry with his one styled, self appraisal pattern of singing he was known for.

His switch from the style many had thought he would become extinct with, to the mainstream hip hop left his critics with no choice but doff their hats for him for his mastery of the game.

Since hitting the industry in 2007 he's been able to maintain his relevance with hits after hits, while many artistes who made debut with him in the same year all had a very brief sojourn and have all disappeared into thin air due to their lack of talent and inability to switch to trends.

A particular artiste; Nico Gravity once used him to revive his fame with a diss song titled Finish Timaya in which he faulted him for his arrogance and his one styled pattern of singing, going as far as accusing him of using spells for his songs and promising him a quick disappearance into thin air for his one styled pattern of singing.

The reverse is definitely the case today as Timaya has surpassed all haters expectations, especially Nico Gravity's, holding the industry sway with hits after hits. His latest work, Upgrade, enjoys up to about 5 hit songs which include Bum Bum, Sexy Ladies, Malonogede, Ukwu, and more.

He's definitely proven with his switch from his old style and a great success from his re-birthed style that he is cut out to do nothing more but music.
