Joke Silva, Pawpaw, Olamide, Others For ‘One Million March Against Drug Abuse’

On Saturday, November 2, 2013, some prominent Nigerians will take to the streets to march against drug abuse in the society. The event is tagged 'One million march against drug abuse' and will take-off from Obalende through Keffi Street, Awolowo Way, City Mall, TBS and Tinubu Roundabout.

Stars like Joke Silva, Osita Iheme (Pawpaw), Dele Momodu of Ovation Magazine, Ali Baba, Olamide, and Yaw will be present at the event.

The march was put together by singer, Lamboginny, who is an ambassador of National Drug and Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). The march is aimed at sensitizing Nigerian youths on the effect of drug abuse.

The Director General of the NDLEA, Dr Femi Ajayi will be the guest speaker at the occasion alongside others like Ali Baba and former Diamond Bank's Head of Corporate Communications, Charles Udoh.

The walk will be transmitted live on Google+, while the Nigerian Army, Police, Immigration, FRSC, NSCDC, Red Cross have expressed their support for the historic event.

The organizers of the march are expecting it to be an annual event henceforth.
