Film producer and director, Mr. Tunde Kealani has said his latest work, Arugba would resuscitate the dying values of the people of the world, especially the Yoruba nation in line with the UNESCO campaigns for “Languages Matter”.

The United Nation Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) theme for year 2008 is how to promote the languages of the world from extinction.

'Arugba', to be subtitled in Portuguese, French and English languages, would create awareness on child survival, prevention of HIV/AIDS, educate people on the prevention of malaria, create awareness about governance and issues bordering on contemporary nationhood.

In an interview with journalists at one of the settings of the film in Ikija area of Abeokuta, capital of Ogun State, Kelani said the choice of location is very important in films that have to do with cultural values and norms as obtained in the olden days.

He noted further that he has marshaled measures to curtail piracy, but would not disclose the measures put in place. The film would hit viewers' eyes after its three weeks of shooting. Essentially however, it would be used to teach people on the evils of corruption and the need for re-birth among other social lessons.

Bukola Owoyemi starred in the film as Adetutu while Segun Adefila is Makinwa. Kelani challenged government not to limit itself to policy alone but real enforcement of same to ward off pirates from the industry when asked to comment on the evil of using other artistes work dubiously for pecuniary gains.
