REAL ME SHOW: STELLA DAMASUS DENOUNCES INVOLVEMENT

By ALONGE MICHAEL

Celebrated widow, Stella Damasus who has been maintaining a low profile two years after the death of her entertainment giant husband, Jaiyejej Aboderin has come out boldly to disassociate herself from the recently announced Real Me Reality TV Show put together by one of the Nollywood stakeholders, Chidi Nwokeabia who sits atop Macnuel Productions. The proposed event, Real Me Reality TV show is all about camping 16 Nollywood superstars such as Emeka Ike, Ramsey Nouah, Stella Damasus, Genevieve Nnaji, Uche Jombo, Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde Aki and Pawpaw to mention but just a few for 21 days in an undisclosed apartment. The eventual winner of the contest, according to the organizers, would go home with N10m and a brand new SUV jeep car.

But while preparation is in top gear to commence this show, the multiple awards winning screen goddess, Stella Damasus-Aboderin whose name has been included in the purported show has denounced her involvement in the show as she termed it as a total infringement on her right/name.

“I was shocked to have read it in the papers that I would be part of a certain Real Me Show put together by one Chidi Nwokeabia. Honestly, I stand to be corrected if I am wrong, I think before a thing like this comes up, the characters involved should be notified or informed first before going out publicizing the show. I have not been contacted for any show of that nature and seeing my name in the list of participants baffled me. Things have to be done the way it should be done; nobody can just wake up and put me in a show I know nothing about. The industry really needs to be sanitised thoroughly” she fumed.

In view of this, we exclusively gathered that, the mother of two, Stella has now denounced her involvement in the show as she may claim damages, if need be, for the wrong information carried out on her name without her consent.
Chidi Nwokeabia and his team could not be reached before this story got published.
We shall keep you posted as event unfolds.
