Star actress, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde dazzled the audience with her dance steps in the ongoing TV Celebrity Takes Two dancing competition in Lagos. Other performances that attracted the applause of the judges were those of Mr. Nigeria- Bryant, Omowunmi Akinifesi, Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2006, and ace broadcaster Funlola Aofiyebi.

The celebrities and their dance instructors really gave a good account of themselves during the pulsating competition last Sunday.

The duo of Pasuma and his dance instructor also staged an amazing comeback after a terrible performance last week. They put up a performance which the judges collectively tagged entertaining.

However, make-up artist, Tara Fela-Durotoye of House of Tara, became the first to be evicted from the show. Tara got the boot after getting the least number of votes in previous performances.

Though she put up great performances with her dance instructor in two previous episodes, she said her eviction was a result of her not canvassing for votes.

“A lot of people didn't know I was a part of the show until recently, that's why I didn't get enough votes. But it's okay, it was fun,” she said.

Last Sunday's dance style was tango and the show kicked off with a performance by Tara and her dance instructor.

The couple's great performance elicited applause from the panel of judges and dance instructors made up of Segun Lawal, Idowu Ligali, Sarah Boulous and guest judge, actor Fred Amata.

But that didn't save Tara as the votes she got were not enough to keep her in the competition.

The nine other participants and their dance partners took the floor to do justice to the dance style of the night.

For the first time on the show, fashion designer, Zizi Cardow was scored a ten by one of the judges, Sara Boulous, who said Zizi interpreted the dance style perfectly with the Argentina style tango.

Musicians Sound Sultan, Normoloss and actor Kunle Afolayan, who came last in the overall rating, were urged to put in more effort in the next episode.

Celebrity Takes Two is organised by Spirit of David and sponsored by Skye Bank. Viewers are expected to vote for their favourite celebrity to keep him (or her) in the show. The show runs on television stations across the country.
