Ruke Amata seems to have put the trauma of his wife's reported sex scandal with a governor and a Promasidor big boy behind him. This can be attested to by his mood when he was at the premiere of the Nollywood movie 'Ikpaya' held in Deptford, London on December 8, 2012, which was a cheerful one.

Other guests at the event were Rita Nzelu, Tope Brass, Theodora Ibekwe, Toyin Moore, Bukola Grace, Sam Anwuzia, Lasco Atkins, Julie Coker (an ex-beauty queen) Drew Uyi and members of Ugbajo Itshekiri in the UK.
In his normal style, Ruke was all smiles at the movie premiere.

'Ikpaya' is a movie written, produced and directed by George Kelly Toghanro. It was co-directed by Chucks Mordi. It is the first ever Itshekiri movie to be shot in England.
