Imelda Ada Okwori whose stage name is Imelda J is a fast rising pop singer to reckon with at all times. The Benue State-born artist who based in Lagos,have been in the industry for 6years with great impact in uplifting and probably change the face of Nigerian entertainment industry for better.

In 2010, she released a single titled "My Love for you" featuring OJB Jazreel, which won her an international award, "Lead Times African International Award" as the Best R & B International singer of the year. Another hit from the stable of the talented songstress was titled "Show Me" featuring pop star, "Side 1" which also bagged her the Divas Award 2011. 

Subsequently, her latest released, Fosoke and Bum Bum Remix also won her City Pride's Achievers' Award in 2012 and several nominations under way including Hype award that will be taking place in the first quarters of 2013.
