The wife of late Nigerian Educationist, Tai Solarin, Sheila, has been reported dead. Sheila, a co-founder of Mayflower School, Ikenne, Ogun State, died at the Babcock University Teaching Hospital this morning, Sunday, October 21, 2012.

Sheila Mary Solarin), a British woman, was married to late Tai Solarin, who was a former chairman of defunct People's Bank. She was honoured with an MBE by Queen Elizabeth II in October 2007 for services to education in Nigeria.

She was aged 88 years before her death.
