Dickson recently poured out his opinion about the state of the industry urging the public and authorities in government to look inwardly into the affairs of the industry.

"The difference between men and boys is the lessons they have learnt... There's a school of thought that says ignoring motion picture practitioners in the reconstruction process of Nigeria is like having actors on stage without a direction from the director. Dear friends, do you believe we should encourage Nigerian film makers to include reconciliatory avenues for the splitting giant of Africa in their crafts?"
Dickson spits out.
