Nigerian have continued to berate the Police for what is considered unnecessary harassment of veteran film maker,Chief Eddy Ugboma,OON over trumped up charges of land speculation.
It was gathered that Chief Ugboma has been a guest of SARS,Ikeja,Lagos since 13th of December,2011 reporting daily over a petition written by one Cyprain Ugweje that Ugboma molested and assaulted him with thugs who had guns.

Ugboma had denied that he ever did that arguing that he lives in his house with three of his young daughters and never harbor thugs.Chief Ugboma who spearhead the growth of Nigeria's entertainment industry by launching out in promotions and film productions said he about 13 years ago sold some piece of land to Ugweje who also sold two of the plots before a communal clash enveloped the Ilogbo/Eremi community where the property were situated causing every beneficiary to lose some of the property.

The crisis according to sources also caused the lives of over six people.Ugboma said he was shocked when the said Ugweje stormed his abode on the 13th of December,2011 with men from Special Anti Robbery Squad,SARS,Ikeja to arrest me even when the entire community knew about the issues at stake and the traditional ruler of the community had told everyone to stay action until the court case over the matter is dispensed with said Ugboma, I don't like this intimidation by SARS.They should take the matter to court and stop the harassment.Travelling to Ikeja from Ilogbo in the past month takes me over five hours and I am 71 this year.I am also hypertensive as my blood pressure keeps rising.I also wonder why Ugweje who reported the matter to the police is nowhere to be found,
