RICHARD MOFE DAMIJO ASIEGBU, JACOBS, OTHERS STORM NOLLYWOOD WORKSHOP
A star-studded one day workshop/seminar primarily targeted at up and coming acts and lovers of the arts has been scheduled for today, Thursday, September 20, 2007 at upscale O'Jez, Surulere, Lagos by 10.a.m.
Among the Nollywood stars expected as guest speakers at the event with the theme: Is Acting Hereditary? Are: Ejike Asiegbu, National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Zack Orji and Olu Jacobs. Others include: Richard Mofe Damijo, Charles Okafor, Liz Benson and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde with Sunny Mc Don, as the anchor cum moderator.
The workshop, we further gathered is being put together by the National Workshop Organizing Media (NWOM), Kivon Ventures in collaboration with the Lagos State chapter of the AGN.
"The purpose of this seminar is to enhance and educate up and coming Nollywood artistes and all lovers of arts that there is more to acting than what they see on screen", said Prince Eguavoen, one of the coordinators.
