Ever since the involvement of corporate bodies in the entertainment industry, a lot of Nigerian celebrities are making a fortune from their talent. Popular comedian and fans favourites OTAS I GO SAVE recently added another year penultimate week, the comedian treated himself to a superlative birthday gift by acquiring a multi-million naira property in Germany.

Otas I Go Save, we gathered flew in from Europe on May 26th to attend Basketmouth's African Kings of Comedy show where he gave a good account of himself and held the crowd spellbound with his hilarious jokes.

The said property, we learnt from a reliable source, gulped several millions of naira but that it's worth the price. It will be recalled that last year the ace comedian celebrated his birthday in London with close friends like I Go Dye, Basketmouth and some top London socialites in attendance

Since his foray into the entertainment industry I Go Save has headlined series of shows both within and outside the country, he has become so many corporate bodies preferred comedian.

This rib cracker, I Go Save rakes in between N1m -N3m as appearance fee and hardly will he not get booked on a weekly basis.

Memorizing comedy way back as a mock news presenter on DRTV with his friend I Go Dye, Warri. OTAS I GO SAVE, whose real name is Otaghware Otas Onodjayeke is one of the biggest names in African comedy industry who came to limelight after performing at Opa Williams' Night of a Thousand Laughs in 2000. With the rise of stardom over the years, he launched his comedy show I GO SAVE UNUSUAL in 2009 which was a sold out before the date of the show in Benin City and after a very successful debut it's now an annual event.

His spontaneity and creativity in jokes over the years has earned him several awards including: DANIEL MERIT AWARD FOR BEST YOUTH COMEDIAN,PINK AWARDS NIGERIA FOR COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR, AKWABA AWARDS GHANA FOR COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR, EHIGLAD ENTERTAINMENT AWARDS RECOGNITION AWARD FOR NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT, NIDOE SPAIN HONOURARY AWARD FOR NIGERIAN COMEDY,PIK ENTERTAINMENT RECOGNITION FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION TO NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT, SETTLEMENT HOUSE HONOUR AS YOUTH PEACE AMBASSADOR, EBS RECOGNITION AWARDS, RECORN ORGANIZATION AWARDS FOR HUMOUR BRAIN OF THE YEAR, NDAA AS COMEDIAN OF THE YEAR and several other awards.

He has also featured in two Nollywood comedy movies titled Warri connection and My House Help. Born may 20th 1979 in Warri Delta State to the Onodjayeke family, OTAS I GO SAVE hails from Ethiope East Local Government area of Delta State. Attended primary and secondary schools in Warri and later Federal Polytechnic Auchi where he studied Painting and General Arts, graduated in 2004 and served his NYSC in Lagos 2005.

In 2010, his annual I Go Save Unusual got bigger and better and he equally won best comedian award at Niger Delta Advancement Awards.
