AYEFELE DEMANDS N.5M TO SING FOR GOD

If information available to City Players is anything to go by, then those arguing that sensational singer, Yinka Ayefele is a gospel artiste, may just have a rethink.

City Players learnt that Ayefele was being expected last Thursday at the 2007 edition of Rehoboth, a religious programme organised by the Prophet E.A Akinade-led Christ Apostolic Church, Lion of Judah in Egbeda area of Lagos State.

The congregation was, however, told by the disappointed man of God how Yinka Ayefele asked for N500,000 before he could perform at the event.

Prophet Akinade told the Christian faithful that he had actually contracted Evangelist Ebenezer Obey to perform as guest artiste at the annual event, but said he would not be able to make it and promised that Ayefele would do.

The visibly disappointed man of God said but contrary to his expectation, he was called a day to the D-day by Yinka Ayefele's manager, that he would not honour the invitation except he was paid N500,000 performance fee.

The question now being asked by most people is: has Ayefele who moved from Bitter Experience to Sweet Experience, Funfair, Aspiration, Fulfillment and finally broke into New Dawn, forgotten God so soon?

Your guess is as good as mine.
