Minutes after they got a broadcast Black Berry message on Valentine Day requesting that they show love to the ailing entertainment writer and PR consultant Laura Nduoyo, three of Nollywood notable practitioners—Actress Halima Abubakar, AMAA CEO Peace Anyiam Osigwe and the movie director and producer of the award winning big budget film Tango With Me reached out to Laura. They confirmed that they had reached out as requested and were touched by her medical condition.

In fact Halima, current City People Best Actress award recipient promised to mobilize more support for the ailing Akwa Ibom born writer who is found to have acute gastroenite. Laura needs N10million to undergo a corrective surgery abroad.

“I will rather save a life than spend money on commemorating Val Day,” Halima said in a BB conversation on Val Day.
