The love affair between actress Toyin Aimakhu and her fiancé Kunle Shoyombo has crashed.

The relationship that lasted for about 2 years saw Toyin flaunting Kunle at A-list events they attended together.

She had referred to him as her man in countless media interviews in the last 1 year.

Sources revealed that the relationship,which many believed was altar-bound because of their closeness,crashed like a pack of cards a few days after the last Christmas(2011).

Those close to the estranged lovers revealed that there was no sign of misunderstanding between them as they played host to a few friends on the 25th December 2011 at their Omole Estate,Ojodu,Lagos residence.

Sources close to them revealed they had been dealing with issues which couldn't resolve,as Toyin allegedly felt she was giving all to make the relationship work but Kunle wouldn't understand her.

Our source said further that though there was a formal family introduction between the families of Kunle and Toyin,they did not pick any wedding date but they lived together as live-in-lovers for 2 years before the union hit the rocks.

Interestingly,Toyin seems to have a strong penchant for young guys who are not celebrities.

In an interview she granted months back,she said I am not thrilled by money men have to offer me. I believe in true love.

It is not that I don't have rich men who woo me but I think am more comfortable with a man who we can start our lives together and I have no regret;many of my female colleagues criticize me for not dating rich men.The fact is that I am happy with the financial status of my man.

Meanwhile,we learnt Kunle has abandoned their Omole home,and has relocated to an unknown place.
