Star actress Rita Tony-Edochie has proven to be a very respectable person in Nollywood and she has earned the love of her colleagues and fans respectively.

Many also perceive her to be one dedicated woman who is very close to God,as she has managed to weather the storm of widowhood with little controversy.

Penultimate week during the wedding ceremony of her closest younger colleague,she appeared to have something against the church.First,she avoided entering the church building at Maria Assumpta Cathedral,Owerri,Imo State.

Despite having a very important role to play in the church program,Ms. Edochie disappeared from the scene as she did not intend to step into the church at all.It took the Cathedral Warden over ten minutes to search around the premises and shout the highly honored actress' name before she appeared and followed him.

She equally acted another drama when the officiating priest shared Holy Communion. Rev. Fr. Andrew Nkwocha kicked off this activity from the front row of seats where this actress was sitting.Immediately the priest moved towards her seat,she stood up and ran to the back row and pushed herself to a seat.

Eventually,the priest restricted the Holy Communion to only few faithful members who moved to the front to receive it.
